Looking beyond the printer at PPMA 2026

When coding and marking challenges arise, it’s common to focus on the printer.

However, achieving reliable, high-quality coding depends on much more than the equipment itself. Product presentation, production environment, throughput and traceability requirements can all have an impact on the final code. Understanding how these factors come together is vital to recommending the best and most appropriate solution.

This way of working is reflected in Rotech’s theme for 2026: ‘We look beyond the printer.’

No two production lines are the same and the ideal solution isn’t always the most obvious one. Whether it’s managing multiple packaging formats, coping with seasonal peaks or reducing maintenance-related downtime, Rotech works with manufacturers to fully understand the wider process before recommending any particular product or technology. With expertise spanning coding applications both on and away from the main line, the focus is on solving production challenges, not just supplying equipment.

Visitors are invited to Stand A31 to discuss their own projects with the team while seeing a range of coding and marking systems in action. Through live demonstrations and practical discussions, they will leave with a clearer understanding of where each approach excels, its limitations and the applications it’s best suited to. The stand will showcase Rotech’s in-house designed offline feeding systems alongside thermal and continuous inkjet technologies, including LEIBINGER’s continuous inkjet range, renowned for its unique nozzle sealing technology and exceptional uptime.

Speak to us about Sunrise
The stand will also feature a dedicated GS1 Sunrise 2027 display, where manufacturers can come to learn more about the upcoming transition to 2D barcodes and what it could mean for their production line. At the heart of the display will be Rotech’s new 1” thermal inkjet printer, capable of printing crisp, consistent, stitch-free, QR codes at high speed onto a wide variety of materials. As an approved GS1 UK Partner, Rotech will also be available to discuss the wider considerations surrounding the transition, from product handling through to verification and future-proofing.

Whatever stage you’re at, the Rotech team will be on hand throughout PPMA to discuss your application and help you make more informed coding and marking decisions. Visit Stand A31.
